Hello!

Honestly, after reading the syllabus I felt a bit overwhelmed due to the fact that I haven't been in school for over 20yrs. Reading the syllabus was very informative and detailed about all of the class requirements. I know that the reading and writing will be challenging for me, this has always been my weakness, but I am ready to work hard to improve my reading and writing skills and accomplish all of my goals.

I have high expectations for myself and due to the fact that I have children, I would like them to know that you are never too old to go back to school, and regardless of your situation you can achieve anything in life with hard work and determination.

Good luck to everyone!

  1. Stacy, i really do respect the fact that you have taken the step to go back to school after so long and really have the determination to succeed here. I can relate as i have had struggles in life where i was out for school for a few years but i went back and i finished and now here i'm back in school again to continue improving myself and becoming more successful. I believe that this class will be a lot easier than you think due to the reflection of who the professor is, he really seems very eager to help you and anyone else with any struggles that we may have this semester. The most amazing part of your post is that you openly admit that this class is your weakness, well now its time to make reading and writing your biggest strength. I hope these words are encouraging, its always nice to know that we all have eachother's backs at the end of the day.

  2. Thank you very much for your words of encouragement, and yes I am glad that we can support each other with positive feedback, it really helps when you have a great support system whether its classmates or family.
